in the Council for Watershed Health’s Strategic Plan. These are education and outreach, research
and monitoring, and integrated planning and management. Details of each strategy
are discussed to the right.

Increasing water supply and water quality through promoting more efficient use of stormwater resources.

Fostering a landscape ethic that supports the use of native and regionally appropriate vegetation and reduces water use.

WATERSHED COORDINATION PROGRAM
Providing leadership, guidance, and assistance, working with other agencies and organizations, to affect sound watershed planning and management.

Promoting better coordination and integration of watershed monitoring while measuring and tracking progress towards healthy watersheds.
